This 14 days’ grand tour will take you through two countries, first to Rwanda and then to Uganda, and to three national parks famous for their teeming wildlife including the mountain gorillas. You will visit Kigali City as well as Musanze caves and Diana Fossey Memorial; you will proceed to Kisoro Town in Uganda from where you will track mountain gorillas in Mgahinga National Park; then you will travel to Lake Bunyonyi and to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kitagata Hot Springs and Karinzu Forest where you will track chimpanzees. The highlights of Queen Elizabeth National Park will be the big game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel; then you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, where you will be treated to a city tour as well as to an unforgettable visit of Mabira Forest and Ssezibwa Falls. You will wind up your tour in Entebbe where you will board the plane for your return flight back home.

Itinerary
Arrival is at Kigali International Airport in the morning. You will proceed to do a Kigali City Tour; visit the Genocide Memorial and Kandi House Museum. You will spend the night at Marriot Hotel.
After breakfast you will travel from Kigali to Musanze Town; there you will tour Diana Fossey Memorial grounds as well as Musanze caves. You will spend the night at Muhavura Guest House.
You will set off after breakfast for Kisoro Town in Uganda. You will do a coffee tour in Kisoro and your accommodation for the night will be at Sawasawa Guest House.
You will track mountain gorillas in Mgahinga National Park; after lunch in Kisoro you will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale District via Echuya Forest for a visit of the Pygmy community. You will spend the night at Birdnest Resort.
You will spend most of day exploring Lake Bunyonyi including a visit to Punishment Island. You will also enjoy canoe trekking and sightseeing of the beautifully terraced countryside. Again, you will spend another night at Birdnest Resort.

Early in the morning you will set off for chimpanzee tracking in Karinzu Forest. On the way, you will pass Kitagata Hot Springs and your night will be spent at Katala Lodge.
After a morning chimpanzee tracking tour you will have lunch at Kasenyi Lodge. If possible, you will go for an evening game drive and then return for the night at Kasenyi Lodge.
From Kasenyi Lodge you will go for a 6 am morning game drive and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.
Early in the morning you will depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and head for Murchison Falls National Park’s top-of-the-falls and spend the night at Bwana Tembo Safari Camp.
From Bwana Tembo Safari Camp you will go for an early morning game drive and in the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the Nile River.
You will be treated to a leisurely drive from Murchison Falls National Park to Kampala City, where you will spend the night at Hotel Africana.
After breakfast you will do a Kampala City Tour which will take you to the Buganda Kingdom Parliament, as well as to Kasubi Tombs (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Gadaffi Mosque, Makerere University, Uganda Museum and Uganda Martyrs Shrine at Namugongo. You will spend the night at Hotel Africana.
From Hotel Africana you will head north to Ssezibwa Falls via Mabira Forest Lodge. Then you will turn southwards towards Entebbe where you will spend the night at Skyway Hotel.
Before you depart on your evening flight from Entebbe Airport, you might choose to spend the day driving around Entebbe Town and visiting Entebbe Botanical Gardens and the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre. A sumptuous lunch at Faze 3 Restaurant will be a very good way to wind up your 14-Day Rwanda-Uganda Tour. END OF TOUR
